Anna Mary Klouser, 88, of Providence Place, Pine Grove, formerly of Spring Glen, died Monday, June 9, 2014 at Providence Place.

She was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Hegins, a daughter of the late David and Emma Yerger Hornberger.
A graduate of the former Hegins Township High School, Anna was an avid quilter, receiving awards for her work. She also enjoyed woodcarving, gardening, sewing, baking and canning.
She was of the Protestant faith and a member of Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
Her husband, William J. Klouser Sr., passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, John and Mark Hornberger; and a sister, Katherine Klouser.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda E. Dougherty and her husband, John, Duncannon; son, William J. Klouser Jr., Lancaster; two granddaughters, Lisa A. Lowe and her husband, Barry, New Bloomfield, and Kelly R. Berger and her husband, Samuel S., Duncannon; great-granddaughter, Audrey R. Berger, Duncannon; and great-grandson, Ittai M. Lowe, New Bloomfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13 at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Pastor James God officiating, assisted by Pastor Perry Kile. Interment was in Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.
