MOUNT CARMEL — Katherine B. "Kaye" Danisevich, 90, formerly of 206 W. Cherry St., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Atlas, a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Haffey) Kulick. She was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel.

Katherine was a 1942 graduate of Mount Carmel Township High School.

On Jan. 20, 1947, in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, she married Walter Danisevich, who preceded her in death Feb. 23, 1994.

She was a former member of Our Mother of Consolation Church, now Divine Redeemer Church, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, promoter of the Miraculous Medal Association, a member of the Sacred Heart League and Marionist Missions.

She enjoyed walking around Mount Carmel, had many friends and was always there to lend a helping hand to others. Kaye enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very religious person and endowed to her faith. For many years, she helped clean the former Mother of Consolation Church in Mount Carmel.

She will be sadly missed by all.

Surviving are a son, William Danisevich, and his wife, Helen, of Wilburton; her grandchildren, Angela Venna and her husband, Angelo, and their children, Alyssia, Brett and Brittany; Brian Danisevich and his wife, Jacqueline, and their son, Cesar, Denise Balliet and her husband, Nevin, and their children, Marissa Katinsky and Brynnlee Balliet, and Pamela Pellowski and her children, Amara and Brandon; a sister, Eleanor Tronoski, of Norristown, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers.


DANISEVICH — Katherine B. "Kaye" Danisevich, 90, formerly of 206 W. Cherry St., Mount Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Martin O. Moran III as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Mother of Consolation Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 8 p.m., and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, supervisor. Memorial contributions can be made to Divine Redeemer Church, 438 W. Avenue, Mount Carmel 17851.
