WEST NORRITON — Mary "Mae" Delvecchio, 93, formerly of 632 Scott St., Kulpmont, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

Born in Kulpmont May 19, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Schuck) Rafferty.

She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School with the Class of 1938. She was employed by Kanmak Mills and Manufacturing Company.

On May 23, 1945, in St. Mary's Church, she married the late Nicholas Delvecchio, who preceded her in death April 25, 1989. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Mary's Church, now Church of the Holy Angels, and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by three children, Michael and his wife, Nancy, of Santa Barbara, Calif.; Jeannie Barkow and her husband, John, of Hagerstown, Md.; and David and his wife, Cindy, of West Norriton, with whom she made her home for the past seven years. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert, a daughter, Nancy, and her brother, Francis Rafferty.

DELVECCHIO — Mary "Mae" Delvecchio, 93, formerly of 632 Scott St., Kulpmont. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday with transferal prayers at 10 a.m. in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, C.J. Lucas, supervisor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to , 366 N. Main St., Taylor 18517.
