MOUNT CARMEL — John "Buzz" Bolick, 61, of 40 S. Locust St., passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born July 10, 1953, in Shamokin State Hospital, he was a son of the late Edward and Clare (Schreiber) Bolick.

He was a 1971 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School.

On March 31, 1995, in Mount Carmel, he married Marilyn (Pieri) Bolick, who survives.

John was retired from the West Point Mining Company, Mount Carmel, and was a former Mount Carmel taxi driver.

He was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1149, Shamokin. He was an avid bowler and had many winning 300 games.

In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by his mother-in-law, Thelma Pieri, of Mount Carmel; a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Nicholas Mattucci, of Paxinos; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many caring family members.

BOLICK — John "Buzz" Bolick, 61, of 40 S. Locust St., Mount Carmel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel with the Rev. Francis Karwacki officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S.
