ASHLAND — Claire I. Bradley, 88, of 21st and Walnut streets, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Shenandoah, surrounded by family.

She was born Oct. 12, 1925, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Madden) Noon.
She graduated from St. Joseph's High School, Ashland
She married Howard Bradley, who preceded her in death in 1973.
Claire worked for many years as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and later for Sears, Frackville.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Ashland, and of the Catholic Daughters of St. Joseph's Church.
Claire was an avid NASCAR fan and volunteered for Reach for Recovery.
Surviving are two daughters, Denise Hossler and her husband, Robert, of Shenandoah, and Diane Andruscavage and her husband, Ronald, of Frackville; a granddaughter, Rebecca Hossler, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Kane, Alice Noon, Theresa Kelly and Elinore Kleman, and two brothers, Edward and Norbert Noon.
BRADLEY — Claire I. Bradley, 88, of 21st and Walnut streets, Ashland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, Ashland, with the Rev. John W. Bambrick as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
