KULPMONT — Olga P. Bartko, 81, of 1047 Spruce St., Kulpmont, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, after a long illness at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Marion Heights Aug. 19, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Simchock) Patrilak. She was a 1950 graduate of Kulpmont High School.

On Feb. 5, 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, Joseph S. Bartko, at St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont.

Olga was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont. She worked at both Shroyer's Dress Factory and Bernstein Dress Factory.

Olga will be forever lovingly remember by her husband, Joe, as well as her children, Michael Bartko and his wife, Coleen, of Kulpmont; Deborah Kessler and her husband, Kenneth, of Coral Springs, Fla.; Stephen Bartko and his wife, Gloria, of Macomb Township, Mich., and Jody Spencer and her husband, Rob, of Hanover; her grandchildren, Kristian and Ashley Kessler, Talia Stefanowicz and her husband, Ed, Brynn Bartko, Brent and Philip Bartko and Cole and Mackenzie Spencer; her great-granddaughter, Audrina Stefanowicz; her brother, Michael Patrilak, and his wife, Peggy, of State College, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Hodrick.

BARTKO — Olga P. Bartko, 81, of 1047 Spruce St., Kulpmont. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will be in Patronage of Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights. Visitation with the family will be held at the Church of the Holy Angels from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Life Geisinger, 1100 Spruce St., Kulpmont 17834; Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont 17834, or Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2050 Trevorton Rd., Coal Township 17866.
