RIVERSIDE — Carolyn M. Coleman, 75, of Avenue G, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 22, 1935, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Volushin) Yancoskie.
She married William Coleman, who survives. Her death ends a union of 56 years.
Coleman worked as an aide at the Danville State Hospital for more than 32 years until her retirement in 1992. She also owned Janet and Carol's Doll Store in Bloomsburg and Selinsgrove.
Carolyn was a member of St. Joseph Church in Danville. She enjoyed knitting, antiques and books. She had a soft spot for ordering jewerly on QVC with her granddaughter, and will be sadly missed by her faithful friend, Holly Berry.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William D. and his wife, Robin, of Coal Township; a daughter, Judith Ann and her husband, Richard Mock, of Middleburg; her two grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia, were her life, and two brothers, Michael and his wife, Marie Yancoskie, and Jerome Yancoskie, all of Coal Township.
COLEMAN — Carolyn M. Coleman, 75, of Avenue G, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Church, 18 E. Center St., Danville with her Pastor, the Rev. Steven Fauser, officiating. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. There will be no viewing. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Brady Funeral Home of Danville.
