DANVILLE — Lorraine R. George, 58, of 80 Mooresburg Road, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center.

Born April 29, 1953, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late John and Hilda (Neibauer) Coveleski.
She married Edgar George, who survives. Her passing ends a marital union of 39 years.
Lorraine owned Lorraine's Home Day Care for over 10 years.
She was a member of the Mooresburg Presbyterian Church, Liberty Township Fire Co., Liberty Township Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and was an auditor for Liberty Township.
Lorraine will be extremely missed by friends and family. In her community, she was entrusted by working parents to care for their children. Her loss in the community will leave a gap for future generations.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Matthew and his wife, Jennifer George, of Red Lion, and Robert and his wife, Jaime George, of Goode, Va.; four grandchildren, Cameron, Aubrey, Tyler James (TJ), and Jessey Leigh; a sister, Rosalie and her husband, Dr. James Moyer, of Bethlehem, and two brothers, Robert Coveleski, of Shamokin, and John and his wife, Jean Coveleski, of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Bixler.
GEORGE — Lorraine R. George, 58, of 80 Mooresburg Road, Danville. A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday at Mooresburg Presbyterian Church, Danville, with the Rev. John Shaw officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. The David J. Brady Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
