MOUNT CARMEL — Louise L. Rusinko, 79, of 42 S. Market St., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

Born July 17, 1933, in Diamondtown, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Dedovitch) Planko. Louise lived with her husband in Cleveland, Ohio, for four years and in Allentown for 36 years before moving to Mount Carmel in 1998.
Louise was a 1950 graduate of Mount Carmel Township High School, where she participated in the school band. She went on to McCann School of Business in Mahanoy City, where she graduated with honors.
On June 7, 1958, in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, she married Leonard M. Rusinko, who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2012.
She was employed as a secretary for many years for Lehigh County before her retirement.
She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Mount Carmel. Louise was kind and lovable, a cheerful giver, a devoted wife, a caring mother, an exceptional grandmother and a proud great-grandmother.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David M. Rusinko and his wife, Brenda, of Bethlehem; three granddaughters, Tara Mory and her husband, David, and Megan and April Rusinko, all of Bethlehem; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Mia and Caleb Mory, of Bethlehem; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sally Planko, of Ballston, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Joseph Rusinko and his wife, Marie Rusinko, of Levittown; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Davis, of Hillsborough, N.J., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
RUSINKO — Louise L. Rusinko, 79, of 42 S. Market St., Mount Carmel. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Michael Hutsko officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday in the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S.
