MARION HEIGHTS — Helen M. (Sejuit) Polinak, 87, of 102 E. Warsaw St., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born in Marion Heights, Dec. 27, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Michalik) Sejuit.
On Dec. 30, 1946, she was married to Peter Polinak, who passed away Nov. 24, 1956.
She was a seamstress at a factory in Marion Heights.
She was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Marion Heights, and a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont.
Surviving are a son, Peter D. Polinak, and his wife, Barbara (Greager), of Farmington, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Matthew Polinak, of Effort, and Peter F. Poliniak, of Farmington, N.Y., and a sister, Antoinette Wargo, of Marion Heights, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John, and four sisters, Jenny, Mary, Sophie and Victoria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, with Transferal Prayers at 10 a.m., at C.J.
