NEW ORLEANS — Anna Jean Davis, 89, of New Orleans, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, of natural causes.

Born in Winchester, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late John Nelse and Laura (Vineyard) Wright.
She was the wife of the late Albert J. Davis, who died in 1970.
Mrs. Davis was a longtime resident of New Orleans and was a retired pharmacist.
Survivors include her brother, John Nelse Wright Jr. (Mildred), of Belvidere, Tenn; her children, Dr. Dwight (Mary) Davis, of Ashland, Pa., Deborah (Fred) Perkins, of Baton Rouge, Claude Davis, of Waterford, Mich., and Francis (Keren) Davis, of Covington, La.; grandchildren, Albert Davis, D. Thomas Davis, Jefferson Davis, Jennifer Perkins, Sarah Perkins, Troy Davis, Tyler Davis, Claire Davis and Lillian Davis, and two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Abriella Davis.
