MOUNT CARMEL — Mildred A. Evert, 94, of 115 S. Plum St., passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Feb. 23, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born in Mount Carmel, March 22, 1918, a daughter of the late Roland and Nellie (Rupp) Erney.
Mildred was married in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Mount Carmel, to Joseph Evert, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Mount Carmel.
Mildred is survived by a daughter and caregiver, Millie Thomas and her husband, James, of Yuma, Ariz.; a son, Carl Evert and his wife, Rose, of Creamery; two brothers, Donald Erney and his wife, Barbara, of Harrisburg, and Roland Erney, of Temple; two sisters, Jean Gribbin, of Seminole, Fla., and Jackie Dipple and her husband, George, of Venice, Fla., and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Evert, on Dec. 28, 2008, and brothers and sisters.

EVERT — Mildred A. Evert, 94, of 115 S. Plum St., Mount Carmel. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Joseph J. Stutz Inc.
