Adella A Saltzman, 86, of 2014 E. Center Street, Good Spring, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on Wednesday, June 23, 1926, in Donaldson, a daughter of the late Anthony and Domicella Stasuinas Birunas.
She was a practical nurse for the former Pottsville Hospital Warren Clinic and also had done private duty nursing prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Joliett United Methodist Church, Joliett.
She had attended Evergreen Adult Day Care, Pine Grove. She had volunteered for the March of Dimes for many years.
Adella enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid Phillies fan, and loved taking trips to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas C. Saltzman in 1976. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Thomas Griffiths; two brothers Albert Birunas and Victor Birunas; and two sisters Alice Withelder and Helen Artz.
She is survived by four daughters Connie Schnoke of Good Spring, Linda Morgan and her husband Barry of Valley View, Tammy Saltzman of Good Spring, and Susan Witmer of Good Spring; five grandchildren Donna Jones, Shawn Schnoke, Alexander Cox, Serena Cox, and Kenneth Griffiths; two great grandchildren Dalton Jones and Seth Schnoke; a sister Frances Knapczyk of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, April 23, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
