ATLAS — Janet M. Watkins, 63, of 305 N. Willow St., Atlas, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Ashland, Sept. 2, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Gaderille) DiCinque.

Janet was employed as a home health care assistant.

She attended Wilson School in Atlas and was a member of the former St. Paul's Chapel, also in Atlas.

Survivors include a daughter, Maria Amarose, and her husband, John, of Mount Carmel, and their children, John and Amanda; a son, Arthur Watkins, and his wife, Virginia, of Franklinville, N.J., and their children, Jason and his wife, Kathleen, Anthony and his fiancee, Megan, and Monica; a son, Brian J. Watkins, of Atlas, and his children, Nicholas, Cooper, Amon and Makenna; three great-grandchildren, Dillon, Anthony Jr. and Natalie; a brother, Albert DiCinque, and his wife, Susan; three sisters, Rose Miller and her husband, John, Betty Ann Weikel and her husband, Richard, and Carmella Rossi and her husband, Jim; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin and Joseph DiCinque, and her companion Stephen Yacyniak.


WATKINS — Janet M. Watkins, 63, of 305 N. Willow St., Atlas. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Martin O. Moran III officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Visitation with the family will be from 8:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home, C.J.
