SHAMOKIN — Randall Lamar Weikel, 57, of 122 S. Sixth St., Shamokin, passed away at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after suddenly being stricken ill Saturday morning at his home.

Born in Quakertown, Aug. 15, 1956, he was a son of the late Lamar and Marlene Weikel.

He lived in Trevorton since his childhood before moving to Shamokin three years ago.

A 1974 graduate of Line Mountain High School, he worked as a pressman for National Ticket Company.

On Oct. 3, 2009, in Trevorton, he married Nancy Bowers, who survives.

He was of the Protestant faith and was a life member of Trevorton Fire Company.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Nancy, are two sons, Jeremy Weikel and his wife, Dawn, of Williamsburg, Va., and Adam Weikel and his wife, Karen, of Quincy, Mass.; a daughter, Jennifer Rinker and her husband, Jake, of Creedmoor, N.C.; stepsons, Thomas Annis Jr. and his companion, Wendy, of Shamokin, and Joseph Annis, of Coal Township; a stepdaughter, Stacy Beaulieu and her companion, Jordan Osevala, of Coal Township; a grandchild, Eve Lauren Weikel; stepgrandchildren, Isaiah, Jonny, MacKenzie, Cameron, Gavin, Malia, Cooper and Noah; a brother, Jim Weikel and his wife, Nadine, of Trevorton; a sister, Cindy Morrison and her husband, Jim, of Trevorton, and nieces and nephews.


WEIKEL — Randall Lamar Weikel, 57, of 122 S. Sixth St., Shamokin. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Farrow Funeral Home, Sixth and Chestnut streets, Shamokin. The Rev. Tammy Gessner, Randall's cousin, will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
