Melvin Keen Obituary

Melvin G. Keen Jr., 64, of Wiconisco, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Pottsville, Feb. 21, 1949, he was a son of the late Melvin Sr. and Anna Coles Keen.

He was 1967 graduate of Williams Valley High School, Tower City.

He was of the Protestant faith.

Before becoming ill, Mel was employed by Metal Industries.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Surviving are a daughter, Tansy K. Welsh and her husband, Chris, Williamstown; a son, Kevin J. Keen and his wife, Lindsay, Shippensburg; and four grandchildren, Sam and Gabe Welsh and Caryln and Connor Keen.
