Marlin Keiser Obituary

THARPTOWN — Marlin P. Keiser Jr., 66, of 1144 Center St., passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2015, in his residence.

Born Nov. 30, 1948, in Danville, he was a son of the late Ethel T. (Dreher) and Marlin P. Keiser Sr.

Marlin was a 1966 graduate of Shamokin High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He owned and operated Tasty Freeze stands in Mount Carmel and Williamsport, and later worked as a landscaper, for the Social Security Administration in Bloomsburg, and as an aide at Mountain View Manor.

Marlin was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Tharptown.

Surviving are two sisters, Donna Kapper, of Hanover, Md., and Sara Klees, of Williamsport, and four children.

KEISER — Marlin P. Keiser Jr., 66, of 1144 Center St., Tharptown. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Farrow Funeral Home, Sixth and Chestnut streets, Shamokin. with the Rev. Betty Ford officiating. Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
