William Engleman Obituary
Age: 70 • Waynesboro
William Allen Engleman, 70, a resident of Waynesboro, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016.
A son of Mildred Patterson Engleman and the late John Engleman, he was born August 14, 1945 in Augusta County.
After graduating from Wilson Memorial High School, he served four years with the U.S. Navy. Upon his return home, he attended Clinch Valley College for 3 years.
Mr. Engleman retired after 22 years with the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center. He enjoyed relaxing with his glass of tea. Along with his wife, he was a member of The Salvation Army Waynesboro.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Engleman; and a grandson, K.J. Swanson, Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Angie Engleman; mother, Mildred Engleman; son, Karl Allen Swanson and his girlfriend Jen Taylor; daughter, Tracie Bosserman and her husband Ronnie, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Andrew Austin, Darren Swanson, Jerod Miller, Makenna Swanson, Kurstin Bosserman, and Kayleigh Bosserman; and sister-in-law, Robin Engleman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at McDow Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2016 in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home officiated by Capt. Jason Perdieu.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army Waynesboro, 900 B Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
