Patricia Catherine Hash(1940 - 2017)

Patricia Catherine Bussa Hash, born Feb 25, 1940, ascended to heaven to rejoin her late but loving husband John Lee Hash, on August 10, 2017. A retired federal employee of 30 years (so she had profoundly good health insurance) she liked to travel and had seen the majority of our great country; although, she was waiting for them to finish the bridge to Hawaii before making that journey. She was the mother of two daughters Suzanna Hash Hunt Hobdy Smith (I know, right?!) and Kristin Hash Muth, and she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but only occasionally, because you know, they're noisy. She is survived by her sister, Karen and two brothers, Terry and Richard. She is predeceased by two brothers Wayne and Donald, and one sister, Sandra as well as her parents. Pat was a helluva bowler, participating in two separate leagues; she played cards with the senior ladies club twice a week; volunteered at the Paul Sawyier Public Library of Frankfort; and volunteered with AARP during tax season. Truly, death will be a break from her busy schedule. A lifelong believer in the magic of reading, she was instrumental in the building of the public library in Clermont, Florida, where she resided for a time and enjoyed a good, humid game of shuffleboard. While she always wanted to take a Hot Air Balloon ride, she never managed to accomplish this dream, though she did have lots of fun. As such, her parting piece of advice to each of you is "have fun, and eat potatoes." Private family services will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local public library.
