Amos David Obituary

Amos W. David, 77, of Fairbanks, died June 4, 2013, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from
10 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Fairbanks Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Titus David Tribal Hall in Tetlin, with burial to follow at Tetlin Cemetery. John Betters will officiate.
Amos was born June 1, 1936, in Tetlin, to Andrew and Lucy David. Amos lived in Tetlin and Midway Lake. In addition to his parents, Amos was preceded in death by sisters, Myra David, Isabelle Demit, Rachel David, and Gwendalyn David; and nephew, Carl David.
He is survived by his sisters, Berthlyn Baker, of Tok; Lulu David, of Fairbanks; and brother, Gary David Sr., of Tok.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fairbanks Funeral Home.

I loved giving him rides around Fairbanks for the stories of my dad and other family I never had the chance to meet. He will be greatly missed every time I go to Fairbanks it wont be the same... RIP Famous Amos

Amos was a nice person, with a wonderful sense of humor. I'll miss him....he made me laugh and I always told people that his growl means nothing...he just like to growl...lol My condolences to the family, wish I could be there with you.
