Catherine A. Johnson(1935-2013)

Catherine Anna Johnson, 77, of North Pole, died April 10, 2013, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
A circle of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at North Pole Moose Lodge No. 306, 300 S. Santa Claus Lane, North Pole, AK 99705. Please bring a story and a dish to share.
Catherine was born Sept. 27, 1935, in St. Louis, Mo., to Marion and Adele Pilkington. Catherine married Dale Johnson in Iowa and had a lovely ceremony. They spent their first few years of marriage there until they came to Alaska, 53 years ago. 
Her family states, "Catherine had a very busy life; she worked many years and was very active with women of the Moose, VFW. She loved to cook many meals for people, and enjoyed her cabin on the Salcha River that her husband and father built. Thank you to the staff on 2 South. We couldn't have done without all of you!"
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Johnson. Catherine is survived by her daughters, Debra (Bob) Anderson, of Boise, Idaho; Donata (Joe) Dietrich, of Fairbanks; Doreen (Tom) Low, of Fairbanks; Diana (Billy) Howe, of Fairbanks; son, Dale Johnson, of Calif.; grandchildren, Trina Webre, Camron Johnson, Chelle Johnson, Justin Anderson, Patrick Johnson; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mason, Jaden, Whytt; and brother, Edward (Sandy) Pilkington, of Iowa, and their two children.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fairbanks Funeral Home.
