Christine Huntington Wagner, 75, passed away Jan. 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born Nov. 11, 1937, in Hog River, to the late Jimmy and Cecelia Huntington.
Mom will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her wonderful laugh. She was loved by everyone and everyone loved her, especially her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with family, friends, laughter and joy. Her family was her life.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Wagner; parents, Jimmy and Cecelia Huntington; step-mother, Flora Elliot; daughter, Judy Bridges; grandson, David Bridges; and brothers, Dan and Stanley Huntington.
She is survived by her children Allen (Jenny) Huntington, Shirley (Ken) Thomas, Cecelia (Curtis) Chamberlain, Patricia Wagner and Kathryn (Terry) Beasley. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kristina, Robert, Megan, Courtney, Caleb, Barbara, Angie, Allen Colby, Christy, Austin, Dakota and Colton; and great-grandchildren Briana, Makayla, Isaac, Shannon, Brittany, Pamela, Lance and Landon.
She also is survived by her sisters, Dinah Lara, Virginia McCarty, Josephine Huntington, Judy Carlo, and Laverne Huntington; and brothers, Wayne and Orville Huntington. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout Alaska and Texas.
The family will gather at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 29, 2013, in Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall for visitation. She will be laid to rest in Huslia.
