Curwood K Gackstetter

Curwood K. Gackstetter, former Fairbanks resident, died peacefully at home, with his wife, children and grandchildren by his side in Wenatchee, Wash. Curry and his wife built and operated the original Curry's Corner during the pipeline days, which, at that time, was the last stop en route to Prudhoe Bay.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Sophie's Station, 1717 University Ave., in Fairbanks.
All who knew Curry are invited to attend.
