Johnny Druck Wallis, 59, was taken from his life on Jan. 5, 2013.
Johnny was born to Peter and Mae Wallis, of Fort Yukon, in 1953.
Johnny is survived by his oldest son, John Wallis, of Anchorage; Monica Paul, of Eagle and Fairbanks, and Michael Shultz, of Oakland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mae; his brothers, Grafton and Barry, and his life companion, Julie Ann Tritt.
His family from the Tritt and Wallis clan will miss Johnny, but his greater family in the Fairbanks area will miss him also.
Having spent half his life in Fairbanks, Johnny developed his own little tribe of people who consider him a brother and friend.
Johnny will be cremated Monday, Jan. 14, and Tuesday, Jan. 15, there will be food served at Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall at 6 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall and will be officiated by the Rev. Scott Fisher.
The service will be followed by a potlatch.
