Kathleen Meiser(1952-2012)

Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and Duane Honrud's companion, Kathleen "Kathy" Meiser passed away Nov. 27, 2012.
Kathleen was born to Richard and Eva Carroll on May 3, 1952, at Fort Yukon.
Kathleen had a big heart and gave much more then she received. To some people who tried to take advantage, she could be tough, but mostly she was kindness itself.
She loved flowers, pretty dishes, classic movies and her family.
Kathy developed a great memory; she had hundreds of names memorized and what camp she knew them from. Kathleen worked for more than 25 years as a housekeeper and cook's helper in remote camps for the oil companies, Cook Inlet and Alyeska Pipeline, and other camps on the North Slope. In her career, she was mother and trainer to hundreds of young men who were, for the first time, away from their homes. Kathy worked, as part of the entire network of people to train these young men and women to be useful workers.
Kathleen's siblings are, Beverly (Mark) Beardsley, Mabel Michaels, Karen Carlo, Juanita (David) Bridges, Richard (Kathy) Carroll, Christine Rifredi, Fannie, Velma, James (Jenny), Tony, and Billy Carroll. Her nieces and nephews are, Gregory, Tammy, Damon, Shawn, Kimberly, Lewis, Andrew, Jolene (Brandon), Gabrielle (Eddie), Jamie, Eda, Ritchie, Leon (Debbie), Christina, Nicolya (Jim), RC (Katie), Elliott, Shane (Kim), Brandon, Jason, Travis (Kris), Jenetta, LynnEva, Todd, Shee'lene (Gary) Kayleen, Karissa, Brittany, Mary Paige, Todd, Chaz and Mitchell Carroll. Her great-nieces and nephews are Emily, Aiden, Carter, Lilly, Tessa, Thea, Nations, Angelica, Karilee, Joesias, Liam, Jesse, Martin Bo, Hunter, Tony, Kiley, Mason, Kennedy, Taylor, Tyson, Kaydence, Alex, Ethan, Tori, Onis and Emma.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Margaret Kelly and James and Fannie Carroll; uncles, Jim, John, Amos, Robert, Paul, Patrick, Norman, Tommy, Albert, Harry, Joe, Jimmy, and Clifton; aunts Mabel Carroll and Anne Moran, and nephew Martin Carroll.
Kathleen was laid to rest Nov. 30, 2012, at Hudson Stuck Cemetery in Fort Yukon.
The family would like to thank everyone for all their support and prayers during this difficult time.
