Terrance Roderick "Terry" Carroll

Terrance "Terry" Roderick Carroll, 54, from Circle, was the son of the late Albert Carroll Sr. and Alice Carroll. He was the fifth of their 10 children raised on the river and the land.  
Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, of which he and his family were very proud. He was a seasonal worker and subsistence hunter. 
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Fields; daughters, Amanda, Rosalie and Tara; brothers, Albert Jr., Dennis, Patrick and John; sisters, Phyllis, Alberta, Shirley and Linda; grandson, Nahtryah, and granddaughter, Sa'adrii; his mother, Alice; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles throughout the Yukon Flats and beyond.  
Terry was predeceased by his father, Albert Sr., and brother, Norman. 
The family would like to thank everyone for their support throughout his illness, along with the donations and fundraisers held in Fairbanks, Circle, Fort Yukon and the Yukon Flats.  
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at the Circle Hall, officiated by Nathan Smoot. A burial will follow. 
Arrangements are entrusted to Fairbanks Funeral Home.
