Patricia Ann (Aumiller) Doyle Morgan Obituary
Patricia Ann Aumiller Doyle Morgan (Pat Doyle, Pat Morgan) died suddenly and unexpectedly in Fairbanks earlier this month. She was 69.
Pat was born to Polly and Lee Aumiller and raised in central Pennsylvania. After receiving her associates degree she worked for NASA in Washington, D.C., during the Apollo Program. She married Grant Doyle, a career military officer from Nome. They had two children, Trish and Allan. After 20 years of service they retired in Fairbanks and were divorced shortly after. Pat worked as a dental hygienist for 35 years. After retiring she moved to Florida but often returned to Fairbanks for the summer. She had a great love for Alaska.
Pat was a happy person, always eager to help others. She loved to learn, had a grateful heart and a smile that lit up a room. She was always eager to see new places and try new things. She volunteered at her churches in many capacities and was politically active and fiercely patriotic. Her love for the Lord and her family was tremendous. Her friendships span the country; she is sorely missed.
Pat is survived by her mother, Polly Stark, of Pennsylvania; sister, Diane, and her husband, Jon Corle, of Pennsylvania; daughter, Trish, and her husband, Dave German, of Florida, and son, Allan, and his wife, Tara Maynard-Doyle, of Kansas. She has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by former husband, Mike Morgan.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at University Baptist Church. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Memorial gifts are welcome and will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Program in her honor. Gifts may be mailed to the church at 1197 University Ave., Fairbanks, AK 99709.
