Claudia Scott-Carter Obituary
Claudia Angelika Scott-Carter passed away from an extended illness on July 17, 2013, in Fairbanks. She was 50 years old. 
Claudia was born on Sept. 29, 1962, in Germany, and moved to the United States in 1990.
She spent four years in Ohio and one year in Colorado. Once she came to Alaska, 19 years ago, she loved it here. Claudia was a daycare provider, and she was always caring for everyone. She loved to make jokes and there was never a boring moment with her. Claudia was married to her husband, Stan Carter, on July 2, 2013.
She will truly be missed by all her family, friends and all of the children that she had cared for.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Stan Carter, of Fairbanks; daughters, Tanja Mahr, of Fairbanks; Natascha Scott, of Boonville, Ind.; and Nadine Hermida, of Texas; grandchildren, Kelley and Robert Mungia, of Fairbanks; Si, Rosie, Malyka and Suseberry, of Fairbanks; Alyssa Mahr, of Fairbanks; Aiden and Xavier Hermida, of Texas; and Aaliyah Presley, of Boonville, Ind.; brother, Michael Brown, of Germany; and sisters, Tanja Haben-Korn and Manuela Neumann, both of Germany.
Claudia was preceded in death by her mother, Else Braun, and her maternal grandparents.
Service information for Claudia will be announced at a later time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice Center.
Arrangements were entrusted to Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home.
