Crystal MacMartin Obituary
Crystal was a very positive person. No matter the situation or circumstance, she always turned the worst into the best. She kept her head held high and moved mountains.
She is now a memory that became our treasure. Her death left a heartache that no one can heal, her love leaves a memory no one can steal. Crystal lived in the moment every day, loved her life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to travel to new places and experience new lifestyles. She was born and raised in Fairbanks where she loved to camp, fish and explore.
Crystal is survived by her mother, Lynette Nelson; her father, William MacMartin; her two sisters, Brittany MacMartin and Marissa MacMartin; grandparents, Duncan and June MacMartin; aunt, Buffy MacMartin; cousin, James Woodward; grandmother, Sandra Nelson; uncle, Donnie Nelson; cousin, Luke Nelson; great-grandmother, Louise Hutson, as well as many other extended family members. She has truly left her footprint in the hearts of every soul she touched.
Crystal was larger than life. God has bigger plans for her. She will be missed, but we are all truly blessed to have had her brighten the cloudy days. Crystal reached up to the stars, and now she dances among them.
A celebration of Crystal's life will be held at noon July 15, 2012, at the Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall, 111 Clay St.

I never Knew Crystal, but believe she was taken too Early in Life, and she now is an Angel who is watching over her Family here on Earth. I will always keep her Family in my Prayers and know that the Memories of this Beautiful Young Lady will always keep Smiles on their Faces even thru the hardest of times.

I didnt know Crystal that well only hung out with her once, but this describes her to a t. She was probably the most nicest person I met in a long time made me feel like i knew her for years. I know what it is like to have a sibling taken from you its the worst feeling ever. You have my deepest sympathy an my prayers go to you an your family, an to your sister above.
