Linda Strle Brown, 47, of Fairbanks passed away at the University of Washington Medical Center, Thursday, May 3, 2012, after a seven-month journey with acute leukemia.

Linda underwent a successful bone marrow transplant Feb. 14, 2012; however, she succumbed to the effects of radiation and chemotherapy she received before transplant.
Linda leaves behind her husband, Chung Brown; their beloved son, Adam; her mother, Pat Mack; sister, Terry Strle (Steve Ferree), and brother, Robert Strle (Jaqi) all of Fairbanks; her father, Rich Strle of Joliet, Ill.; brothers, Rich (Mary) Strle of Bloomington, Ill.; and Ron Strle of Chicago, Ill.
Linda will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins from the Brown, Strle, Seneker and Ferree families.
At her request, cremation rites have been accorded. A Mass will be celebrated in Linda's honor at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at St. Raphael's Church.
A celebration of Linda's Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall.
