Lori Ann Geggatt, 40, was born Aug. 19, 1971, in an Anchorage hospital.
She lived in Trigo, Mont., and Washington state, and spent most of her life in Fairbanks. Her family originally came from Emmonak. She went to several Fairbanks schools where she sang in the school choir and received her GED. Her dad called her "Anna Banana" and her mom called her "Luaffy."
She loved her old man, Scott. She loved all her children and wanted the best for them. She was a loving, happy, smiling woman. She loved to party hearty. She loved the color purple and people, regardless of who they were. She helped people when she could.
She went through struggles, and when she did, she got through them. She loved laughter and it spread from her to everyone around her.
She always wanted to protect her brother Danny, who she called "Danielson." She and her late friend, George, would call her mom "Police Woman." She always wanted to thank the people who raised and loved her children. She believed in God and prayed all the time.
Every year on her mother's birthday or Mother's Day, she would call her mother 15 minutes before midnight, but this year on her mother's birthday she called on the day before because she wanted to be the first.
She loved fishing, beading, being with her children when she could, and listening to music, especially Ozzy Osborne. She could remember the words to most songs. She loved watching movies. She loved cooking and barbecuing and made the best potato salad. She always wanted a clean bathroom.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Jackson; mother, Christine Lundberg; stepfather, Jimmy Hayes; children, Ashley Rodgers, Jasmine States, Shaelene K. Akaran, Giovana Ruth Geggatt, Carl A. Dudas who she called "Son-Son," Kyle G.
