Mary Lee Gardner passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2013, in her home in Delta, Colo. Her loving family members, including her newborn great-granddaughter, were at her side. She was 80 years of age.|

Mary Lee Hangs was born to James Edward and Rose A. (Brant) Hangs on June 8, 1932, in Hamilton, Colo. She spent her childhood and attended public schools in Silt, Colo. Mary graduated from Silt Union High School in 1950. Mary furthered her education by taking CNA classes in 1964 in Rifle, Colo., and in 1986, in Fairbanks.
On July 7, 1950, Mary married Bobby Lee Bradley in Rifle. To this union, five children were born. After 49 years of loving marriage, Mr. Bradley passed away in Alaska.
On March 10, 2003, Mary married Larry M. Gardner in Rifle. The couple had the honor of sharing 10 years of love and marriage.
Mary was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, reading, embroidering, playing the organ and keyboards, music of all kinds, and took pleasure in writing and viewing emails on her computer to chat with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, Larry Gardner of Delta, Colo.; two sons, Gary Bradley and Brad (Janet) Bradley, of Fairbanks; one daughter, Cynthia Sue (Lyle) Whitmer, of Fairbanks; one brother, Donald James Hangs of Delta, Colo.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clarence Hangs; her loving husband, Bobby Lee Bradley; son, Rocky Lee Bradley; daughter, Sandra Jo Daniels; and her daughter-in-law, Crystal Bradley.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
