Mary was born in Japan on the island of Shikoku in the city of Kochi-Ken and was adopted by a military family who moved to Fairbanks in 1959. Mary served as deputy to the Most Worthy Grand Matron of the General Grand Chapter OES for several terms. She loved to help in the many fraternal organizations. She also enjoyed going on camping trips with the grandchildren.
She is survived by brothers, Dick Springer, Jim Springer, Robert Springer and Ernest Springer, all living in the Mesa, Ariz. area; husband of 46 years, Johnnie Wallace; and three sons: Johnnie Jr. and Charlene Wallace and their four children and two great-grandchildren; Jimmie and Jo Ann Wallace and two children; and Jefferie Wallace.
It was Mary's desire that she be cremated, with her ashes to be spread at a later time, and that no service be held.
God bless, and may your star shine forever.
