Dale Toy Obituary
Dale Toy, 51, passed away on July 24, 2014, of natural causes.

He is survived by his wife, Tamara Toy, of Fairbanks, and their two daughters, Melissa Toy and Roselynne Toy; his oldest daughter, Nikki Toy, of Kentucky, and his son, Alec Toy, of Ohio; two sisters, Patsy Register and Elizabeth Toy, both of Lakeland, Florida.; his niece, Valarie Blanton, and nephew, Brad Register, also of Lakeland; and his grandchildren, Katelynne Knight, Dakota Knight, MacKenzie Knight and Shelbi Barman, also of Kentucky.

Dale was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. He moved to Fairbanks in 2009, after meeting Tamara online. Although he didn't care for the cold, he never ceased to marvel at the northern lights, a moose in the front yard, or hearing a fox bark in the distance.

He was a caring person, one that enjoyed making people smile and laugh, as well as helping people when he could. Even after a work accident left him unable to play guitar, he was always passionate about music, as it never left his soul. He was an avid gamer that never failed to quickly make friends online.

Anything he was passionate about, whether it be politics, music, gaming, football or science, he could talk about it for hours, if left uninterrupted. His passing left a huge hole in the lives of those that knew him, and loved his sarcastic manner.

As long as those of us left behind live, he will never be forgotten, as he made all of our lives better in one way or another.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at Chapel of Chimes, 415 Illinois St., Fairbanks, Alaska 99701.
