She was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Tyler, to Leland Lincoln Wagner and Christine Huntington Wagner. She was a former resident of Fairbanks.
Judy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed being with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leland Lincoln Wagner, and her son, David Leland Bridges.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Kristina "Billi Jo" Bridges; granddaughters, Briana and Makayla; mother, Christine; brother, Allen; sisters, Shirley, Cecelia, Patricia and Kathryn; the Cortez family; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins throughout Texas and Alaska.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wagner, Keith Kinard, Anthony Cortez, Michael Votaw, Lawson Loudres, Billy Davis, Gus Cortez and Doug Nicholson.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Brent Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Cemetery
If desired, flowers may be sent to funeral home or a donation can be made to the Blood and Cancer Center of East Texas, 825 Medical Drive, Tyler, Texas 75701, Attention: Dr. Sharma, in memory of Judy W. Bridges.
Judy's family extends special thanks to Dr. Sharma, Dr. Gross and all their staff for taking such wonderful care of Judy and never letting her give up hope.
Our family would also like to thank the third floor nurses at ETMC, Lesslie, Catherine, Megan, James and Becky for your compassion and understanding.
