A service for Dexter Parker, 65, will be held at noon, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. A potluck will follow in the church hall.
The Guest Book is expired.
Dexter passed away July 30, 2012, in Anchorage, after a long illness.
Dexter will be laid to rest with his dog, Mr. T, in Birch Hill Cemetery, overlooking Fairbanks and his wife, Barbara Parker.
Dexter served in the U.S. Air Force and worked at the fire department in Anchorage. He was a truck driver and a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sister, Sybil, of Florida; and brother, Hurbert, of Georgia.
Dexter will be sorely missed.
