Sandra Brochu Smith, 65, resident of 108 Colonial Dr., Greenwood, S.C., died Jan. 1, 2013, at her home.|
Born in Rochester, N.H., June 14, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Robert Joseph and Marguerite Juliette Gange Brochu.
Ms. Smith was a graduate of Sacred Heart School of Nursing where she received her registered nurse degree, and retired as a house supervisor from Self Regional Healthcare.
She was active in the lives of her grandchildren, assisting with school functions, Girl Scouts and all other aspects of their lives.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lori Hall, of the home; and a son, Keith Sims-Larson, and wife, Ethel, of Harding Lake; two brothers, Ronald Brochu, of Nashua, N.H., and Richard Brochu, of Keene, N.H., a special uncle, Joseph Roland Brochu, of the home; a grandson, Bryce Larson and fiancé, Melanie Matias, both of the home; and a granddaughter, Serena Hall, of the home; a great-grandson, Lucian Larson, of the home. She was predeceased by a grandson, Caden Hall.
