Brian Lee Musgrove, 39, of Fairbanks, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. He was born June 11, 1973, in Bakersfield, Calif.
He is survived by his son, Bryce; wife, Autumn; his sisters, Shawna Riutta, Lanell Bond and Danay Rosendahl; grandma, Hazel Rosendahl; aunts, Linda Ornelas and Gena Thompson; and cousins, Angela Ornelas Barlow, George Huff, Amy Ornelas and Donna Niehaus.
He also leaves behind Frank, Linda, Amber, Kaitlynn, Keenan McKirgan, and Chuck and Sherryll McDonald; and many close friends.
In addition to his love for his family and friends was his love of hot rods and motorcycles. Two of his passions were working on his 8 second '69 Nova with his good friend, Dave, and riding his Harley with his bud, Charlie and the crew.
He took great pride in his workmanship and it showed in every task he undertook. If he did something, he did it right. One of his fondest memories was winning King of the Street Fastest E.T in his 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Equally as fast as his rides, was his wit. He was always humorous and imaginative with witty comebacks. No matter the circumstance, Brian could put a smile on your face with his infectious personality.
Everyone who came into contact with him immediately took a liking to him. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for the people in his life and they felt the same way about him. He was a straight up and honest person, and you knew where you stood with him, period.
Brian was employed at Frontier Plumbing Supply for the past 17 years. Mike and Bill were more like family than co-workers, supporting Brian, Autumn and Bryce during these troubling times.
Brian had so, so many close friends he loved and respected very much, so it is really impossible to mention them all, however, you all know who you are, and what you meant to him and his family.
A celebration of his life will be held from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Fairbanks Curling Club. The event will be catered. Dress casually.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fairbanks Funeral Home.
