Joel "Joe" Jackson Crow, 51, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013.
Joe was born Dec. 2, 1961, in Anchorage. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, and served in Korea.
Joe married Sharri Hills on Oct. 9, 1999, in North Pole. He was employed at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in environmental services since 1999.
His family said: "Joe was the kind of person who would make you laugh without even trying. He could light up a room with his personality and bring a smile to your face.  Anyone who knew Joe can remember a moment where he brought joy into their life. When it came to being a family man, Joe was the model of dedication. As a fiercely proud father, his kids always came first. Joe also will be missed by his constant companions, Maggie and Grizz. His voracious appetite for reading enabled him to possess a witty, yet quirky sense of humor. If Bill Murray and Robin Williams could be merged together, that person would be our Joe. His sparkling personality instantly made him the life of every party. As a provider, Joe constantly worked multiple jobs. Selflessly, he labored at all hours of the day to give to his family. Joe will be missed by his wife and children. He also will be missed by all of us whose lives he has touched. Good bye Joe ..."
