Imogene Baker Obituary
Cary
Imogene Williams Baker, 88, of Cary, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at Wake Med Cary. Mrs. Baker was born on July 16, 1925 in Wake County, NC to Carey Williams and Zola Upchurch Williams.
Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her husband, Odell Baker.
She is survived by her niece, Janet Anderson; great niece, Lisa Parrish, husband, Patrick and daughter Sarah; great nephew, David Anderson and son Brooks; and numerous cousins. Mrs. Baker is also survived by a very special friend and caregiver of 18 years, Evelyn Moss.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. Burial will follow in the Apex Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Green Level Baptist Church, 8509 Green Level Church Road, Cary, NC 27519.
