We knew Chris from hockey, he was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone. Losing a spouse/parent is one of the toughest things to face, but know that you have a huge community of friends to support you. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Chris and his brother Neil back in my high school days. being a lifter i had read about Chris in the magazines and couldn't believe he lived in my town. We met at the gym and I had the priviledge of lifting with them for many years. I got to train with them and go to meets with them. Chris was by far one of the most humble and kind souls one could ever know. We spent as much, if not more, time talking about our families and Italian backgrounds as we ever did about lifting. I can still remember countless conversations and memories...he was first and foremost just a great kid. i think what he loved most was simply being a husband and father. I am forever thankful to have known him. My most sincere condolences to his wife and family. Love Chuck

I am very saddened to hear this terrible news.

I got to know Chris in 92 at John Inzer´s Bench Press Extravaganza in Longview, Texas. Chris was one of the top athletes there.

On behalf of KSV Eiserfeld I brought Chris over to Germany to lift in the German Powerlifting National Team league and also for the FIBO Expo in Essen. I remember this events vividly.

He was a great champion and a great person.

My sincere condolences to his family, especially to his wife Dianne and his two children and to his brother Neil.

He will be terribly missed.

Rest in peace, Chris
