Bob Goyer was an internationally known scientist and liked by everyone who has met him. He had a warm personality and I will never forget him. I was fortunate to work with him and publish several scientific papers with him. He has chaired several international WHO committees. I had the honor of knowing Bob early in my toxicology career while I was at NIEHS. He was an excellent scientist. He was also one of the kindest persons I have met. I will remember his engaging conversation, sense of humor and the twinkle in his eyes.
