Cary
Robert John Barry, 63, passed away Saturday at home, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Thomas and Dorothy Barry, Rob spent his childhood years in Durham, NC and graduated from Northern Durham High School. He then attended UNC Chapel Hill and was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many.
After college, Rob settled in Cary, NC where he raised his family and worked professionally as an accountant, most recently serving as an account executive at Confero, Inc.
Rob is survived by his wife, Elaine Buxton, his three children, Erin Barry Lewis (Geoff), Laura Barry, and Ethan Barry, granddaughter Alexa, brother Tom Barry (Carol Ann) of Charlotte, sister Peggy McGillivray (Stu) of Apollo Beach FL, mother in law Jo Anne Buxton, and brother in law Russ Buxton.

Your dad is one-of-a-kind and will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss and have only good memories of my Uncle Rob. He's the uncle who took me out deep in the ocean and taught me how to toss horseshoes as a kid. I will miss you, Uncle Rob, and am thinking about all of you.
