Thelma Jarvis Obituary

Thelma B. Jarvis, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence.
Known affectionately to her family as St. Thelma, she was a former 7-time undefeated Canadian National Diving champion and competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 1:00 Saturday, November 11, 2017 at River of Life Church 5508 Munford Rd. Raleigh, NC with the family receiving friends following the service.
Interment for the immediate family was 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Raleigh Memorial Park.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Jarvis, Sr. and her sister, Dresda Sagador.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth L. Jarvis, Jr and wife Jane T. Jarvis, Roy R Jarvis; daughter, Carol Virginia Jarvis and husband Ronald Pearce Cox; 11 Grandchildren: and 12 Great Grandchildren with 3 more on the way.

Memorial contributions may be made to River of Life Church in lieu of flowers.
