To Mrs. Brady, Eamonn, Aggie and the Brady Family, my deepest sympathies to you all. I was very sad to hear of Mr. Brady's passing. I have many fond memories growing up next door, walking with him around the block and to the lake, Mr. Brady wearing his Irish cap and sweater, and smoking his pipe! And coming home from work with fruit leather -- he had the original Fruit Roll-ups! I will never forget him and his gentle kindness. I am sure God has prepared a beautiful place with green rolling hills and long narrow roads lined by rustic stone walls -- maybe a fiddle and flute heard softly in the breeze. My memories make me smile, may yours make you smile too!

Ed Brady was a lovely gentleman. His warmth and kindness always made feel one welcome at O'Neill's. He had a generous spirit and a smile that could lift you from you darkest moods. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Brady family. I have thought of Ed often and the times at the Castle, in Poughkeepsie. The fundraisers for Dorcha Doca. A gentleman, in the truest sense, and a proud son of Ireland.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

It can't be truly sad with his long life so well lived and so filled with giving. Few among the living will ever know the extent of his generosity. He was a rock of dedication and sacrifice in a time of turmoil in Ireland. With gratitude for his friendship,we wish Agnes and the family the peace and comfort of God's abundant grace and the consolation of our prayers.

Comhbhrón ó chroí do chlann Ed...(Deepest sympathy to Ed's family). Thinking of you all today. He was an unforgettable gentleman; so full of kindness. In a world of injustice and inequality Ed was an ambassador for humanity. A good Irish republican. With fond memories, Declan, Cathy and family.

Ed was a dear friend of the Nelis family in Derry after staying with us when he visited with Aggie for the first time in 1984. I have many fond memories from my time in Brewster. I actually enjoyed raking the thousands of leaves with him in the winter of 1985 around the Brewster house. He tried to teach me how to ice-skate on the lake below their home. It was a lost cause. But he was much more successful at many other causes not least of which was supporting the families of Irish Republican prisoners over many years. He was a quiet, unassuming and very generous person. Our family is very saddened by his passing and we offer our sincere condolences to Agnes, Aggie, Eamonn and the entire Brady-Dalton clan.
