John,
I read the wonderful article about Betty in today's News & Observer. I had not previously heard of her passing. Please accept my condolences and prayers for your family. I remember her warm personality when speaking with the two of you at AGR events and once at the farm. The N&O article captured her love for her family, others and the farm. God bless you.

Dear John, Russ, Helen, Jessica and Joy - My heart goes out to all of you. I feel so blessed that I got to spend some time with Betty last year - it reminded me of what a profound effect she had on my life. I am overjoyed that she is at peace now. Prayers from Carmel to my family in Bunn.
