Kathleen gave me my first job.God love her. We were working at ECU. We both left in 1984, she back to her beloved UNC and me to the University of Pittsburgh. We remained close as she lectured to prepare genetic counselors for their American Board of Genetic Counselors Board Exam. She was a very funny person and is deeply missed. I did not learn of her demise until recently. She made numerous contributions to the field of medical genetics. She is genuinely missed.
