Richard Alan Crumpler, Sr., 71, passed away on July 2, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Crumpler; son, Rick Crumpler, Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren, Tyler and Camden Crumpler; mother, Carlie T. Crumpler. He was preceded in death by his father, George B. Crumpler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m., Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive guests from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownwynnemillbrook.com"

I believe there is a beach and an ocean in Heaven and that you have found a big, beautiful, shining boat waiting for you with your name on it. One day you will take Sue and all that love and care about you for a ride on it. Until that day, sail on my friend, sail on.
