Patricia Hodges, born in Dollar Bay, Upper Michigan, on June 4, 1936 and died December 4, 2013 at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital after suffering from a massive stroke. Pat, as she was know to all, is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tom R. Hodges, MD and her brothers: David and Steven Finnegan. Pat was a nursing instructor with the L.A. Unified School District and taught nursing students at Pierce College, UCLA and St. Joseph's Hospital from 1965 until she retired in 1992. During these years, Pat resided in Malibu, CA. In 1999, Pat and her husband moved to the Santa Ynez Valley and resettled in Lompoc for the past seven years. Pat was an enthusiastic contract bridge player and was involved with the bridge clubs of the area.

Burial will be private.
