After the war he joined the National Guard and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Falling in love with California he moved west with his wife and two children in 1952. They have lived in Santa Barbara for 57 years, retiring from Raytheon Corp. as an engineering designer.

Thank you to Visiting Nurse and Hospice for their compassionate help and care which allowed Robert to stay at home at the end of his life journey.
